B.Ed. (Two Year) Course
For admission to B.Ed. Course in various colleges in the State of Rajasthan a state-level-entrance examination for selection of candidates i.e. Pre-Teacher Test (P.T.E.T.) & P.T.E.T. Exam Result declared college are allotted on the basis of Merit.
Course Details of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)
The Bachelor of Education programme, generally known as B.Ed. is a professional course offered for those interested in pursuing career in teaching and it prepares teachers for Secondary (Classes IX-X) and Senior Secondary (Classes XI-XII) levels.
Duration :
The B.Ed. course is of two academic years. There shall be 200 teaching days in college and 28 days Internship in B.Ed. I Year and 96 days in B.Ed. II Year in nearby secondary schools for every trainee.
Eligibility criteria for students :
• As per NCTE norms, a candidate should have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate at Graduation or Post Graduation for General Category.
• A relaxation of 5% is grated to the candidate belonging to reserved categories namely SC/ST/OBC etc.
D.El.Ed. (Two Year Diploma) Course
For admission to D.El.Ed. Course in various colleges in the State of Rajasthan a state-level-entrance examination for selection of candidates i.e. Pre-D.El.Ed. Exam & Pre-D.El.Ed. Exam Result declared college is allotted on the basis of Merit.
Course Details of Diploma in Elementary Education :-
The Diploma in Elementary Education programme, generally known as D.El.Ed./BSTC is a diploma course offered for those interested in pursuing career in teaching and it prepares teachers for upper primary or middle level (classes VI-VIII) levels.
Duration :
The Diploma in Elementary Education Programme is of two academic years. There shall be 180 teaching days in college and 28 days Internship in First Year and 96 days in Second Year in nearby primary and upper primary schools for every trainee.
Eligibility criteria for students :
• As per NCTE norms, a candidate should have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate at Senior Secondary examination for General Category.
• A relaxation of 5% is grated to the candidate belonging to reserved categories namely SC/ST/OBC etc.
